Wildflowers
The flowering Jarrahdale wattles in early August herald the start of the wildflower season in the hills. Ancient wildflowers begin to flower and respond to the spring sunshine filtering through the forest canopy. The snow white creeping clematis, brilliant red coral vine, chorizema and peas flowers, many golden wattles and hibbertias, pink cream and red verticordias, mauve holly-leafed hovea and brilliant blue of Leschenaultia and many more!
