Jarrahdale Heritage Society Inc
The objects of the Association are:
- To stimulate public interest in and support for the preservation of historical relics, including buildings and sites in and around the town of Jarrahdale, by, inter alia, maintaining a public museum and by conducting guided heritage walks for the general public.
- To collect, classify and preserve records and artefacts relating to the history of Jarrahdale.
- To display documents, photographs and artefacts in permanent and thematic exhibitions in the Society’s public museum.
- To establish and maintain a library, a reading room and to encourage the study and writing of the town of Jarrahdale’s history.
- To assist educational and special interest groups with project materials and to provide guides for historic site visits.
- To promote the commemoration of notable anniversaries in Jarrahdale’s history, to erect suitable signs and notices at places of historical interest.
- To organise and conduct heritage walks through the Jarrahdale town and surrounding forest for the general public and special interest groups, maintaining trails, walk maps.
