Bridge Farm, Turner Cottage, was built by the Turner family in 1856. Edward and Elizabeth Turner were two of the areas earliest settlers. In 1979, the original cottage was carefully and lovingly restored by their great-grandson Frank McKay and his wife Isobel. Family, friends and local people worked tirelessly in an effort that would create an opportunity for people from all over to see and experience the life and home of our early settlers. The cottage is still proudly owned and operated by descendants of the Turner family.
