Bush Walking
There are many walk trails to experience in the hills and along the Darling Scarp. Walk trails take you past plunging waterfalls in winter and spring, views to the coast or trails deep into the Jarrah forest to provide the perfect escape back to nature. At Jarrahdale a network of forest trails fan out from the town. There are also walk trails at Byford and Serpentine. Walk trail maps are available at the Serpentine Valley Vistor Centre,Shire office and Library at Mundijong.
Baldwin's Bluff
Blue Rocks Walks
1.5km and 3km walk trails over Blue Rock and through forests recovering from bauxite mining and timber milling. (Difficulty: Medium)

Darling Scarp Guided Bushwalk
Guided Bushwalk over Granite Rocks and Dams on the top of the Darling Scarp.
From the Old Post Office Museum, Jarrahdale Road, Jarrahdale.
Enjoy an informative guided walk over Blue Rock. Walk through the rehabilitation areas created after the cessation of bauxite mining. Follow the trail past snotty gobble trees to the water point of the operation leading to the dam at the site. Bring your picnic and all the family. Walks are of medium intensity and occupy two hours or four hours. Wear sturdy 'walkers' and rain gear. Bring your camera and a gold coin donation. Further details from Tony on (08) 95255161.

Serpentine Falls
Falls Road, off South West Highway, Serpentine
The spectacular Serpentine Falls are situated within the Serpentine National Park and are the perfect spot got a picnic or barbeque.
Entry fee $11 per car. Toilets available.
Walk trails from the Serpentine Falls
Baldwin’s Bluff
6km return. Spectacular views of the Serpentine Falls and much of the park can be viewed from the summit of this walk. There are also views over the coastal plain to the ocean and the Perth Skyline. (medium)
Serpentine Falls
400m return. A popular walk which is accessible to wheelchairs and prams. The walk takes you from the Falls carpark through vegetation to the lower and upper rock pools to the spectacular Falls.
